Silvia Madeddu is a postdoctoral researcher at PIK, Research Domain 3 – Sustainable Solutions. She joined the START project in 2018 and her research focuses on decarbonisation of energy-intensive industries. Silvia holds a Master Degree in Science from The University of Padova, Italy, and a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from The University of Sheffield, United Kingdom. After completing the PhD, she worked for a company as Chief Scientist, specialising on the development of Carbon Capture and Utilisation technologies.
