Nils Ohlendorf

Nils Ohlendorf is PhD candidate and researcher in the „Climate and Development“ working group.
His research focuses on:
- Distributional impacts of carbon pricing
- Carbon price expectations
- Political economy of energy transition in developing countries
Nils Ohlendorf studied at the Freie Universität Berlin and holds a Master of Science in Public Economics. He further studied Industrial Engineering with a focus on Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency (B.Sc.) at the University of Kassel and the Technical University of Budapest. Prior to joining MCC he worked for Green Budget Germany (FÖS), German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ), and the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW).
