Mr. Paul Wyrwoll
Paul Wyrwoll is an environmental and resources economist at the Crawford School of Public Policy. He is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Centre for Climate and Energy Policy working on the role of energy storage in decarbonising electricity networks and Australia's 2050 emissions strategy. His PhD research (submitted May 2019) focused on regulatory design for multipurpose hydropower reservoirs under risks associated with climate variability, water insecurity, and energy transitions. Paul's work encompasses a range of research methods across economic modelling, policy analysis, and participatory processes. He is a member of the Food, Energy, Environment and Water (FE2W) Network (http://www.fe2wnetwork.org/) that works with decision-makers on understanding and addressing risks and trade-offs across food, energy, environmental, and water systems.
