Murdoch University is a Western Australian University with more than 22,000 students and 2,000 staff across five campuses. The Perth campus has a range of facilities including a comprehensive vet hospital, engineering pilot plant, a chiropractic clinic, and Media Arts centre.

Murdoch University is well placed to service the research needs of Western Australia's regional industries, including mining and manufacturing. A number of Hub projects are led by researchers at Murdoch University, in partnership with the University of Melbourne and the Australian National University.
