Anselm Eicke is a research associate at the Hertie Schoolof Governance. His research revolves around power market design questions and the economics of electricity. Currently, he is focuses on the topic of locational investment incentives for power generation. Prior to that, Anselm has worked in the field of academia at the Leibniz University Hannover and for organisations such as the German development agency GIZ and the Bundesverband der Energie- und Wasserwirtschaft (BDEW). Thereby, he has gained work experience in Germany, Mexico and Belgium. He received his Bachelor of Sciences in Energy Engineering from the Technische Universität Berlin and his Masters in International Energy from Sciences Po Paris.
