Rakibuzzaman Shah received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia.  His area of research includes future power grids, asynchronous grid interconnection through high voltage DC (HVDC), power system dynamics and stability, data mining application in power system, and control application in power system. He has worked with the University of Queensland and the University of Manchester in several industrial projects as a post-doctoral research fellow. He is also actively working closely with researchers from the UK, USA, Australia, Malaysia, and Thailand. He is currently a lecturer in Electrical Engineering with the School of Engineering and Technology at CQUniversity, Australia.
