Dr. Jessica Strefler
Researcher
Jessica Strefler is a postdoctoral researcher in Research Domain III (Sustainable Solutions). Her current research is focused on the influence of different carbon dioxide removal technologies on global climate change mitigation strategies. She is a developer of the hybrid energy-economy model REMIND where she is responsible for non-CO2 emissions, air pollutants, and carbon dioxide removal technologies.
She completed her PhD at PIK working on non-CO2 emissions in global energy systems. In this context she is particlulary interested in non-CO2 greenhouse gas emission metrics and in the interaction of air pollution policies and climate policies.
